Four star senior DB Matt Elam (Palm Beach Gardens,FL/Dwyer) is the first prospect to decommit from the Gators 2010 class. Urban
Meyers indecision has recruits rethinking the whole process. Urban Meyer will take a leave of absence until August 2010, but who
knows if he will not be out longer. Matt Elam has decided to switch his commitment to the Florida State Seminoles, “I’m going to
Florida State because I see a better opportunity for me and I want to be a difference maker,” Elam said on Thursday. “It was all the
factor,” Elam said when asked if Meyer’s decision factored into his decision. New Head Coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff are starting a
trailblaze in December after already landing 5 star LB Jeff Luc and 5 star CB Lamarcus Joyner. Elam is a huge addition the the already
solid FSU class. Elam can play Safety,Linebacker or even Running Back.
